
Holistic Learning Approach
The curriculum spans 180 days, factoring in school holidays and celebrations for various festivals. Additionally, a buffer of 20 to 30 days is included, allowing teachers ample time to thoroughly cover each topic and ensure students’ conceptual understanding is strong before they progress to formal schooling in 1st grade.
Each month’s theme is designed to address multiple areas of development, including Language, Numbers, Social-Emotional skills, and Cognitive Concepts. The curriculum also emphasizes creative growth. To support moral and behavioral development, suggested storybooks are included for teachers to use in the classroom.
For every topic, creative activity, or social engagement, the curriculum outlines clear goals and objectives. It specifies the materials required and provides a step-by-step procedure for teachers, helping them effectively deliver lessons. Additionally, the curriculum introduces new vocabulary and sight words to foster early reading skills.
To track student progress, assessment sheets are provided, enabling teachers to monitor individual development and contribute to progress reports. At the end of each theme, a list of poems and activity sheets is included, ensuring that teachers have ready-to-use resources for the classroom.
